Chemical cleaning / acid pickling is used for the removal of residual oil,
grease, heavy rusting, millscale and other contaminants from the internal
surfaces of carbon steel, stainless steel and incoloy pipework and fittings. The
specifically designed chemical circulation tanks of Denholm Zholdas use both
steam and/or electric power as heating media and these, coupled with a range of
chemical resistant pumps and hoses, enable pipework to be cleaned, passivated
and flushed efficiently and safely to clients specifications.
CCTV Pipework Inspections covers the internal inspection of all sizes of
pipework from ½" internal diameter upwards using colour video systems. Typical
applications include location and identification of coating breakdown, debris
and scale, post cleaning inspection and corrosion monitoring.
